Awagami Bamboo Printmaking paper contains 70% bamboo fibre plus 30% mixed recycled fibre, is 100% acid free, unsized and made in Japan with no fluorescent bleaching. Its luxurious texture is similar to silk while softer than cotton making it an excellent choice for both letterpress and relief printmaking. Sheets feature 2 deckle edges.

Composed mostly of Philippine gampi fibre (90%) with 10% alpha cellulose (unsized) this most famous of the Awagami papers exudes a warm tone and is highly resilient due to the natural 'sizing' properties of its fibres. Off-white in colour and silky in texture, Kitakata is handmade from gampi fibre, and is acid-free with 4 deckle edges. Ideal for printmaking, drawing, mixed-media, book-arts and alternative photography.
